Anna’s Perambulations, August 7, 2013

8 Aug

I was watering, so probably kept her from some of the plants she really wanted to go to, but this is what I saw her on;

Mina lobata

Salvia coccinea ‘Snow Nymph’

Salvia leucantha ‘Phyllis Fancy’

Then she flew off over to the other deck where I couldn’t see her, but could hear a little spat presumably between her and another hummer In the garden.

This recently started to bloom too;

Salvia darcyi ‘Pscarl’ (Vermillion Bluffs)

Hopefully it will prove both hardy here, and a hummer favorite, as it has for folks in other regions. Took it long enough to bloom.
