im made these from scratch for us after we were done with the ridiculous diet Beth had us on. Easy, but good recipe, and we’ve already started playing with it. He got the recipe from a link on facebook, probably and old Betty Crocker recipe.

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup flour

1/3 cup baking cocoa

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

2 eggs

1/2 cup oil

Mix everything together and throw it in a 9×9 baking pan, in a 350 degree oven for half an hour. Oh, and optional would be to add 1/2 cup chocolate chips and nuts, which we almost always do…

Apparently you can premix the dry ingredients and store it in a jar, adding the oil and eggs at the last minute.

His second batch he did it adding chunked up frozen pumpkin kisses, which worked, but had a funny aftertaste. But we could add mint to it just as well, or maybe cream cheese mixed with jam and swirled through it… I personally think that it could be a little less sweet too, but Jim dissagrees. Maybe when I make a batch myself I’ll leave out some of the sugar.

These were really good, and just the ticket after 10 days of the diet from hell, lol. Try em!
